Ali founded Qbera Capital UK in 2017, where he also established a dedicated Trade Finance Fund. Prior to this, he was based in Dubai with HSBC Middle East, leading the Commodity & Structured Trade Finance division. In this role, he cultivated strategic relationships and executed multibillion-dollar transactions across MENA and Africa. With full P&L responsibility, Ali also worked closely with workout teams to manage and resolve legacy non-performing loan portfolios. He is now focused on expanding his presence in the Middle East and is actively engaged with NexGen Alpha Advisory on several high-profile assignments.
